Well, I'm really glad people love it.  It's always hard to know
whether stylistic changes like this one actually match other people's
opinions as well.

IMHO, the reason why doxygen tends to give them such a prominent place
is that a struct is basically the same as a class in C++, and doxygen
apparently really concentrates on documenting the class structure in
C++ projects.  Too bad avr-libc doesn't deal with classes in any way,
and the couple of structs involved is rather negligible. ;-)
