[avrdude-dev] Clock for fuse recovery

My apologies if this has been discussed many times in the past. Though a
quick perusal of the archives didn't turn up anything.

 

In the PPI mode, can Avrdude supply a low frequency clock so that an AVR,
configured to use external crystal or oscillator, can be programmed? If not,
may I suggest this as a possible future enhancement?
