Quite possible the non-P version is indeed missing. Originally, Atmel
intended to only release P versions of the ATmega169 and ATmega329,
respectively. Apparently, there was enough customer demand to later
also cause non-P versions to appear, but these might have never made
it into AVRDUDE.
