Yep, right, I completely forgot about LaTex, shame on me.
TexShop (http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/) is THE editor for *Tex.
Gerben Wierda's i-Installer (obtainable from TexShop's homepage) is
just great to install tetex without too much harassment, although you
can also use fink.
Now you can have fun.
