If you can click on [AB79] and [Sch99], then who cares?

Actually I've been thinking to use the usual latex annotations. (e.g.
$\ ^1$ good paper on algorithm foo related to $\ ^2$) where the
wiki/pamphlet system would put a formatted reference with author and
title at the bottom of the page as a footnote.

Perhaps also the citation should have a line: "Mentioned in:" with a
list of other wiki pages/pamphlets.

But formatting of the footnote is a detail that can be customized, and
argued in the future when it works.
