When we started the testing branch, we were doing some very open ended
changes. One of them was replacing scheduler with a routing table
system that could be externally updated, although that was never
completed. Perhaps we should add scheduler back into the test branch
for those needing it? What do you think?
We are currently using latest 1.2.x version. Scheduler is a good thing.
But I do not think it is an answer for medium-to-large IVR servers.
Routing is a primary thing in it's infrastructure.
We use routing tables stored in DB and a single initial script to attach
a particular caller (according to call parameters) to a particular
script (service).
We use TGI to speedup the process.
Currently we serve up to hundreds of thousands calls per month from
different cities
and different telephone operators. Routing helps us a lot!
