Follow-up Comment #2, task #9414 (project bibledit):
A 3.7 branch was made a week or so before the 3.7 version was released. When
the release was made the branched was merged into master again.
It is easier work for the developer if only one branch is used at a time, as
Jonathan pointed out also. I support the idea aired by Jonathan, because that
seems workable and strikes a balance between the need to let a release
stabililize for a short while, and the work that the programmer needs to put
into it.
