Bibledit may store its data elsewhere when it finds a
file .bibledit-datafolder-pointer in the user's home directory.

I've hunted up and down but I'm not finding it. I renamed the notes directory then created a new note. The note appears fine in the interface. In the .bibledit directory, it created a new notes directory but in it there is no note to be found. The only files contained are: categories, and notes.sql2.
