Make for a2ps doesn't succeed

Hi,

I downloaded the file for installing a2ps from
ftp://ftp.enst.fr/pub/unix/a2ps/a2ps-4.13b.tar.gz. After untarring I ran
configure. While running make I get the following error:

make: *** No rule to make target `../lib/liba2ps.la', needed by `a2ps'.
Stop.

address@hidden: src => make install
make: *** No rule to make target `../lib/liba2ps.la', needed by `a2ps'.
Stop.

Would appreciate your inputs on this.
