I tried it -dAutoRotatePages=/None, but it did not do anything...
Puzzling. It certainly does something for me.
Anyway, I can't imagine how the random rotation is related to a2ps,
unless the original ps is wrongly rotated. I think you need to look
into ps2pdf/gs operations.
