[Bug-AUCTeX] Customization of TeX-output-view-style fails

Dear Sirs,

 

I recently upgraded AUCTeX from 11.85 to 11.86, however mu customization for viewing pdf documents now fails. I use cygwin so I have the following in my .emacs, using cygstart

 

 '(TeX-output-view-style (quote (("^dvi$" "^pstricks$\\|^pst-\\|^psfrag$" "dvips %d -o && gsview32 %f") ("^dvi$" "." "yap -1 %dS %d") ("^pdf$" "." "cygstart %o") ("^html?$" "." "start %o"))))

 

However, now as I want to view the command line shows

 

start "" filename.pdf

 

instead of

 

cygstart filename.pdf

 

When I try to erase the custimization options in TeX view group an error is reported

 

Invalid function: ("^dvi$" "^pstricks$\\|^pst-\\|^psfrag$" "dvips %d -o && start \"\" %f")
