Remember to cover the basics, that is, what you expected to happen and
what in fact did happen.

Be sure to consult the FAQ section in the manual before submitting
a bug report. In addition check if the bug is reproducable with an
up-to-date version of AUCTeX. So please upgrade to the version
available from http://www.gnu.org/software/auctex/ if your
installation is older than the one available from the web site.

If the bug is triggered by a specific (La)TeX file, you should try
to produce a minimal sample file showing the problem and include it
in your report.

Your bug report will be posted to the AUCTeX bug reporting list.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have a multifile project where one of my chapters was included using
the following command:
\input{"chapters/blub/blub.tex"}
Although LaTex was able to find and include the file, RefTex would not
cooperate and refused to find any of the labels in the "blub.tex". I
now use the following syntax to include the file and it works
perfectly now:
\include{chapters/blub/blub}

I would have expected that RefTex would either tell me that it was
unable to find the file "blub.tex" with my syntax OR that it would
find it and index the labels( latex managed to find the file, even
though the syntax I
used was so odd and unusual that the "\include" command would not work
with it either)
