Subject: BUG REPORT automake-1.7.1 | autoconf-2.54c | aclocal-1.7.1

While compiling and testing automake-1.7.1 and autoconf-2.57
I am getting several errors dealing with libtool.m4. Locate
agrees.

This is a SuSE 8.0 distro upgraded - kernel 2.4.20pre11.

Also autoconf is reporting that automake lacks libtool.m4

Running automake-1.7.1/tests/libtool4.test directly
