        Yes, the documentation is somewhat confusing, since MappedFile
is said to be portable to Win32, but at the same time there is a
"@todo implement in win32". I guess there is the intention to make it
portable to Win32.

        As far as I see, this class is not implemented on
Win32. However, it should be feasible and even easy to implement it.

        Are there people interested in this port or even willing to
provide help with the implementation/testing?
