Yes, the documentation is somewhat confusing, since it says
that MappedFile is portable to both posix and Win32, but a "@todo
implement in win32" item is specified. I guess there is the intention
to port it to Win32. It should be feasible or even easy.
Are there people interested in this port or even willing to
help with its implementation/testing?
