Hmm, I have recompiled the Debian version without any of its patches,
and cannot create a similar postscript file to yours. So perhaps
something else is going on.

Can you send me the README file you are using, so that I can start with
the exact same source file? I would also like a copy of
your /etc/enscript.cfg - you might want to compress both of these.
