Hi. I'll review the typos.  They come from my upstream, which
is GLIBC.

Then someone needs to send them to me in a form I can digest, which
would be a unified diff. If the changes are substantial, the person who
did them will have to assign copyright in their changes to the FSF.

I will also note that GLIBC development seems to have opened up some;
perhaps the Git developers could simply submit their suggestions directly
to GLIBC and then I will pick them up the next time I sync.

As a general comment, I'm happy to work with the Git developers around the
regex code, but the interaction with me will need to be more active than
just "there are changes in the git repo, go pull them and look at them".
