I've also updated the README.os2 file and merged everything into master
and from there to the other branches.

KO & Andreas: What typically happens is that I make a release and only THEN
do bugs start showing up (we have one already! :-).  After 1-3 months things
settle down enough that I can make a patch release.  The OS/2 stuff will
be part of that, and anyone who can't wait can always get it from Git.

I apologize for letting that fall through the cracks, but it should settle
out soon.
