PR 1410: ELF32

Hi,

I see that a hack is proposed by Ken for GDB bug 1410, but there is no 
actual patch posted here. Is there any patch that has been put into gdb 
for this PR?

BTW, this bug is regarding gdb core dumping when you try to write in a 
elf32 file.
