ly2dvi and module time

Hello,

I have tried to install the stable and latest development versions of
lilypond on my RH 6.1. The installation went well with both except that I
am unable to make ly2dvi work.

It fails as it is unable to load the Python module time. When I comment it
out obviously ly2dvi fails (but at a later stage) with an unrecognized
function. 

What worries me is that the time module does not exist in the most recent
version of Python 1.5 on the RH6.1 or the tarball one finds on python.org.

Could you please indicate where one find this module.
