Re: Strange spacing in scores

I just got an idea related to this old bug report of mine
(November 2000) that still hasn't been solved.
It seems that the space someway comes from the instrument
names. If you e.g. remove the instrument name engraver,
there's no extra spacing. So, it seems that Lilypond
beleives the instrument names extend to the right of
LeftEdge. Maybe this can help in the debugging of this 
annoying bug.
