Why are you then trying to bring the "libexec" idea to the FHS
people?
This was a attempt to allow /libexec (and /hurd and /servers) in
Debian GNU/Hurd which must follow the FHS due to Debian Policies. And
I can't say that I am trying anything, I tried--past tense--3 years or
so ago.
But I don't see why you are bringing up this side issue to begin with
since it is totally unrelated to GNU gettext following the GNU Coding
Standards.
