I want to make life easy for distributors (Debian, SuSE, RedHat
etc.). And you?
Sighs, GNU gettext is for the GNU system. Not for Debian, SuSE,
RedHat, etc. They _can_ change the value of libexecdir using a
configure switch, which is quite easy to do.
And since _GNU_ gettext is a _GNU_ project it should follow _GNU_
practises, and that is to install "executable programs to be run by
other programs rather than by users" in $(libexecdir) as defined by
the _GNU_ Coding Standards.
Please, just fix gettext, I'll happily supply a patch at that.
