Hmmm, tricky... I don't think it can be done without several modifications
to the board rendering code. (Those modifications are probably a good idea
in any case, since it might be nice to have that code more modular, and
it would help us to give previews for the other settings in the appearance
dialogue and perhaps make automatic generation of html-images a bit easier
too.) I'll look into it.
