Actually, I'm not sure whether a weekly posting will help at all. Only
the regular readers might get annoyed (if they don't figure out how to
delete them already on the server). Else, monthly should be enough.

I'd suggest putting this text near every place where someone new could
possibly find the mailing list address. That should be mainly on the
gnubg homepage and the list archive.
