If it's like Unix, then it would want to see /MinGW/lib/locale/xx/gnubg.mo where xx is the language in question - de, da, ja, it, or whatever and gnubg.mo would be the gnubg/po/xx.gmo file.
If it's like Uniw, shouldn't there be an additionnal LC_MESSAGES directory (locale category "messages")?
