[Bug-gnubg] bug in setting dice

Hi

 

This bug is hard to make happen.  I can't find the exact way to make it happen in all positions.

 

I think this will make it happen.  Start a fresh copy of GNU.

 

Set this position up:

 

Position ID: wf8PAADB/w8AAA
Match ID: MAEAAAAAAAAA

 

 

This position will have the top of the board on roll.

 

Go to edit mode.

 

Change only the side on roll by clicking the dot  (color = bottom player's checkers ... btw I think it would be good to be able to click the 'arrow' to change the side on roll).  Leave edit mode.  Click 'game' and 'set dice'.  Click on '3-1' (think it is the same for all rolls).  You are now back at the position, but have no dice roll showing.  I have the same happen in other setting, but not always remember the exact way it happened.

 

Another strange thing I found while trying to write this report,  if you set up the position listed here and click save.  Enter a file name.  Now reopen this file you have the wrong side on roll.
