[Bug-gnubg] Suggestion from GV

I saw this request among the commentaries responding to Douglas Zare's
latest article at GammonVillage:

Here's a way to get practice at checker play for different
match scores. Play money games against Snowie with the
move panel active, making the move you think is right for
money but also considering what move to make at DMP/gammon-
go/gammon-save. Once you make the money move and the money
equities come up, check how the moves rank at the other
three scores with the buttons on the move panel (labeled
11, 21, and 12) before continuing. It doesn't slow things
down as much as you may think it would. I wish GNU would
add the buttons to their annotation window....
---------------------------------------

I like the idea but would add that I'd prefer it if the buttons (should
they be implemented) didn't say 1-1, 2-1, 1-2 as Snowie does but instead
DMP, GG, GS. I'll be honest, I never understood what those buttons were
for in Snowie until I saw this comment. It's true that a strong player
may immediately understand that these scores mean DMP, Gammon-Go, and
Gammon-save, but I think that is taking it too far by forcing players to
first understand what the button is, and then what the scores imply.

                                                        Albert

P.S. I wonder whether this will beat my 3 other posts which I have yet
to see appear.
