Hi Louis,
I have committed new code into CVS that adds support for Apple
CoreAudio. It takes precedence over QuickTime if both are available. I
have not removed the QuickTime code since the CoreAudio/AudioToolBox
framework was not fully available on much earlier OS/X releases.
CoreAudio will be used for both 32 and 64 Bit Snow Leopard builds now.
I amended the autoconf magic to take this all into account. In theory
you should be able to pull the latest code and it should build a 64 Bit
binary with internal sound support.
