Howdy,

I had been using some code that did this for quite some time. Until
yesterday I had never got around to cleaning it up enough to put into
CVS. I have done so, and will appear in the next windows build.

There are 3 new Python functions available - gnubgid, matchid, posinfo.

The module help should be enough to figure out how they are used.

On the todo list is an xgid function.
