Follow-up Comment #3, bug #18088 (project gnustep):

I think you will find that the timezones of both objects are the same.
You are probably being confused by the fact that different timezone offsets
are being reported ... that's because the two times are in different daylight
savings time periods, not because they are in different timezones.
