It looks like you fixed the problems of 2.9.23-1 with staves going off the page -- thanks. As far as I can tell, it's back to the way it was in 2.9.22 (but still more spread out than it was in 2.9.17). This is the case even when ragged-bottom and ragged-last-bottom are set to ##t, and, of course, all manual \break and \noBreak commands are disabled.
For what it's worth, I can put \break and \noBreak commands where I want them, and it doesn't prevent me from getting the layout I want. It's just that, with this score at least, the default horizontal spacing / linebreaking / pagebreaking isn't quite as good as it was in 2.9.17, in my opinion. If the new spacing/breaking scheme produces better results overall, I can live with that.
