Indeed, I'm running lilypond on Ubuntu 6.06.2 LTS (with latest updates) and packaged "gv" doesn't accept "-watch" but does accept "--watch". ========================================================================= $ dpkg -l gv ii gv 3.6.1-12ubuntu PostScript and PDF viewer for X $ gv --version gv 3.6.1 $ gv --help | grep watch --watch watch the document file for changes --nowatch do not watch the document file for changes ========================================================================= Note that this problem also affects version 2.11.37 (latest development version).
