Does anyone know what's the biggest single score compiled with LilyPond?
I've done the first half of my Mikado score and am currently at about 1600
bars and 90-odd pages at a Global staff size of 16. It currently takes
about 940 seconds to compile, with peak memory of 900 Megs.

Well according to this
http://news.lilynet.net/Free-Music-Now
"...It can run on any platform, no matter how old or exotic, has thousands of
users and hundreds of contributors, and makes it possible to write simple
scores (a couple of hours is all it takes to get started) as well as complex
500-pages pieces, mixing text, graphic elements, contemporary or medieval
notations."
