http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1356So the "documentation bug" is that instead of writing "the $ character may be used to introduce scheme forms", it should say "the $ character means that a scheme form follows, even in a lilypond comment. To use a literal $ anywhere, including a lilypond comment, you must use $$."
? in other words, the "may be used" is unclear, since it suggests that it's not required?
