should not show Ghostscript window

Be aware though that *if* this call is causing the pop-up cmd window to
occur and we remove that, there is no way for a user to know if the compile
has failed or not, and for every single compile the user would have to
manually open the log file to check. This is tedious with many small
incremental changes.
This is not an issue with CLI, or MacOS where the log window pops up and
runs interactively and is left open for a user to clearly see the compile
message, with windows there is absolutely no other indicator that the
compile has worked until this cmd window pops up and dissappears.
So while this may not be desirable, the side effect is *very* useful.
