The funny thing is:
(a) the forwarded email you sent me is different to the first one
(b) it DOES contain a full path!
Spooky! Anyway, the file is in your root directory.
I think I know what the problem is. FWICT, some versions of
DOS/Windows terminate directory entries at the first NULL directory
entry, others at the end of the cluster (at the end of the dir's
chain). Parted ends it at the end of the cluster, which means
it may find some bogus directory entries (like the one you found)
that DOS/Windows ignores.
Pixel: you said I should terminate at the end of the cluster...
what versions of DOS/Windows were you testing on? FAT16 or FAT32?
I'll play around some more...
