Hi parted-ers,

Here's a documentation bug. #1 can be ignored, since parted _can_ resize
fragmented partitions; there is no problems with this part of the text.
However, #2 is definitely an error, and #3 could be talked about (again)
:-)

Cheers,

Timshel

Package: parted-doc
Version: 1.6.6-1
Severity: minor

It says in '/usr/share/info/parted.info.gz':

879 Note that Parted can manipulate partitions whether or not they
880 have been defragmented, so you do not need to both defragmenting
881 the disk before using Parted.

1) "manipulate" is ambiguous. I'm guessing it means 'move' or 'delete',
but not 'resize'... unless 'parted' can resize fragmented partitions,
which seems unlikely. And if it can't resize fragmented partitions,
then the above passage doesn't belong under the 'resize' heading.

2) "need to both" what? "both" needs two noun objects, and "defragmenting"
   is a verb.

3) Should 'Parted' be capitalized? Users might think they
should type a capital 'P' to invoke the program.

Hope this helps...
