Well, I must admit I do find that to be a rather surprising fact! One
would presume that support for little-endian partitioning of Solaris (X86) would
be an easier sell to developers rather than big-endian (SPARC) support.
In either case, it is definately not noted on the website whatsoever that
either is supported or planned to be supported.
I also am curious, what (if anything) is requisite to resize the
partitioning as created by a Novell installation?

Yes, I noticed this recently, but I haven't had time to fix it.
It's just an endianness issue... Parted only supports the big-endian
version and not the little-endian version of Solaris partition tables.
I'm accepting patches ;)
