Option --null disables special handling of -C in file lists. This
behavior is documented (see
http://www.gnu.org/software/tar/manual/html_node/tar_99.html). The
reason for it is that `--null' was designed to handle output from other
programs (e.g. find) which are unlikely to produce any tar command line
options.

There is a number of options that I would like to handle within
file lists, --files-from is one of them.
