[Bug-tar] @LongLink Errors

Hi!

 

I tarred up a set of files with Gnu Tar for Windows.  An associate extracted the files on a Unix platform.  I am told that is a Sun OS that I am unfamiliar with; SUNfire perhaps.

 

When this Unix version of the tar program was used to extract the contents of the tar file, a number of @LongLink errors were received.

 

Is there some way around this?

 

Please advise.
