[VCDImager Bugs/Devel] MPG problems in 0.7.9 that don't exist in 0.6.2

Hi!

I'm pretty new to svcd creation, so I may be making a mistake myself, but something big has changed from 0.6.2 to 0.7.9.

I use 0.6.2 to create a bin/cue with an mpeg created with TMPGEnc (tried versions e,f and i). These images work perfectly with my Yamakawa/Raite AV715.

If I use 0.7.9 I get the following :

++ WARN: Initializing libvcd 0.7.9 [cygwin/i686]
.
.
.
INFO: scanning mpeg sequence item#0 for scanpoints...
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset": [00:00.2e]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset": [00:0a.0c]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'previous_I_offset": [00:00.2e]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset": [00:0a.1a]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset": [00:00.3c]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'forward_I_offset": [00:0a.1e]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'previous_I_offset": [00:00.3c]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: one or more BCD fields out of range for 'next_I_offset": [00:00.3c]
++ WARN: mpeg user scan data: from now on, scan information data errors will not be reported anymore---consider enabling the 'update scan offsets' option, if it is not enabled already
++ WARN: string 'VideoCD' fails d-character constraint (pos=1)

I use graphical GUIs in Windows 98/ME. In 0.7.9 i can only use VCDImager GUI, since TSCV can't even create the image because of the previous error. The image created does not work in the standalone DVD player.

I don't know if it is really a bug or if it is bad use of the program, but since I'm using the exact same MPG file and it works in 0.6.2, i think something's wrong.

Mariano Kubota
