hello!

the 224 kbps apply for sequence items,
whereas the 3 additional bitrates are only allowed on segment items...

192 kbps == 192 * 1024 bps == 196608 bps
:-)
which means, that there's a type in the warning... (kbps should be bps)

the size in mb's of an image is not an absolute criteria for telling if
the image will fit on a given CDR!!

it's important to know the image-sector-size as well... if you divide
the image size by the used sector size (for vcdimager usually 2336 or
2352 bytes depending what has been requested by the user) you get the
number of sectors; this number _is_ a criteria for deciding if the
amount of sectors will fit on a disk or not... (vcdimager does output
the size in sectors as [mm:ss.ff] btw...)

how old is your player?

do SVCD's created with other programs work better?
