I don't want to jump into Eric's process of making decisions, so the
following is meant just as an offer without any sort of 'political'
intentions: Does it help, would everyone agree on having an automated
mirror to serve the CERTI repository via a proxy-capable protocol ?

This would be a one-way service only without offering the capability to
submit code changes, though.
