[Chicken-users] size of the symbol table

Hi all.

I read the documentation and found -:t
-- a way to specify symbol table size.

Is this parameter worth variating for maximal performance?
BTW: "symbol table" and "symbol-table" are in manual.tex.
     Please spell it consistently; it eases searching.
