Ah yes. Good catch. I didn't run into that one either, because my
bytecode compiler special cases calls to System.arraycopy.

I did a little (unscientific) experimenting with this, but for me it
didn't make a significant difference (but like I said above I already
have a pretty optimized System.arraycopy).
