Klaus is right. Please move to latest(though pretty old) version of DDD which is 3.3.12.

I guess you are getting the build error:

strclass.C:1546: error: ‘EOF’ was not declared in this scope  

 

This is a known bug  "https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?func=detailitem&item_id=33960"

 

We have patch for this but as no new version of DDD is released recently so it didn't made into the release.

 

With the new DDD version this problem won't be there.

Before I want to start digging the details: Why you use such an old
version? Last official version is 3.3.12. ( and is also outdated ) Maybe
your problems were already fixed.
