I have checked in a sizeable chunk of the work towards Denemo
directives. There is very little visible as yet, but I have included one
example: the guitar fingering & guitar string number markings now claim
space for themselves in the Denemo display. The no longer crash into
adjacent notes, though they will still write (in the display) on top of
each other. If you put them on some closely spaced notes (e.g. 1/16th
notes) and compare with fingerings inserted by the older "finger 0",
"finger 1" etc scripts you can see the improvement. And, as reported
earlier, you can now independently edit the fingerings and the string
numbers on the same note without interference.
Next, probably should be placing a graphic instead of text in the
display, plus some strategies for avoiding clashes in the display of the
directives.
