I have just checked out the stable-0.8.10 branch and the word fluid does
not appear anywhere in it.
I suggest Jeremiah creates the source tarball for the 0.8.10 release
(after checking that indeed there is no reference to fluid in it) and
uploads it.
Then Nils can download it and place it in his gub build (on my system
this is done by putting it at:

gub/downloads/denemo/denemo-master.tar.gz

as this is the name it seeks).
And hopefully it will build.
