And another: pasting into an empty measure moves the cursor into a
succeeding empty measure even when the first measure (the one pasted
into) is not full.
This prevents using paste in the same way as appending notes (so, e.g. I
insert to 1/4 notes then a triplet of 1/8, and so on: the quarter notes
go in with the cursor moving to the new measure at the right stage,
while the pasting of the triplet does not).
